So the title is actually accurate today! Who knew, right?
There were two things I was going to talk to you all about today but then I forgot one of them. So I’ll start with the one I remember and then maybe things will just fall into place.
Oh! A Happy Halloween shout out to all those reading! I hope your spooky holiday was fantabulous (yes, a made up word). I ate plenty of tasty treats and I hope you did as well.
First, I have to show you this clip because 1) this movie is hilarious, and 2) this is exactly what I noticed when I came to college (specifically the commentary about the ‘2-strapping it’.) The only thing I really can’t relate to much is the bullying, but everything else is hilariously accurate.
Thus I give you a clip from 21 Jump Street (the new movie, not the T.V. show):
I had hoped by now I would have remembered what it was I was going to tell you but I can’t. Check out A Marginal Tale as I am about to update it right after ending this post! It really is sad what I do (or don’t do) in math class.
Who’s ready for Thanksgiving?!
If you’re reading this and you’re not American–I’m sorry you do not have an excuse to eat a bunch of awesome food for absolutely no reason. If it makes you feel better, technically we’re celebrating the slaughter of thousands of Native American people seeing as how the Europeans brought over tons of infectious diseases and nearly wiped out their population.
And in school they always told us that the Pilgrims and the Indians had a nice sit-down meal together! (I’m thinking that was a lie).
Forever and Average,
Mel
