After an 8 1/2 hour car ride, I am glad to be back in front of my computer screen where I belong. Now you may say this is antisocial–a product of this “new” and horrible generation–but I say no sir! Because you really wouldn’t want to meet me in person. I’m such a riveting person (that’s sarcasm by the way), it’s sometimes overwhelming for my admirers.
Sorry, I’m really tired. You may just have to be patient with me.
So this short snip-it post is to tell you two things.
1) I’m thinking that chapters 10 and 11 of This is a Book are going to be postponed for next Thursday and Sunday. The past few weeks have been a bit crazy for Julia and I, and scheduling has gotten really messed up. Sorry about that! But we promise to make the next chapters extra-super crazy and exciting 🙂
and 2) My actual post for this weekend is going to pop up on this blogeroo tomorrow because I left my handy-dandy notebook in my dorm room that has all of the upcoming post ideas in it. And because I have the memory of a fish, I can’t remember a single one of them that I wrote down. Hence this extremely strange (at least it’s coming across as strange to me) blog post. Again, my apologies. It’s these kinds of days that I wish I could be a bear and sleep through an entire season. New superpower idea: Beast Boy from Teen Titans (if that’s not nerdy enough for you, what is?) Except I don’t want to be green. Hmm, things to think about.
Until tomorrow mes amis,
Mel
I very much like this idea of postponing. I was literally about to text you and suggest the very same thing when I opened your blog post.
Great minds, my friend. Great minds!
