Hey Averagians,

Yes, that’s right, I’ve finally found a title for the lovely people who read this blog. (It’s only been a year. *Guilty face*) I’m probably not the first person in the world to invent this term, but even so–I’m copywriting this right here! Whoop. There it is.

I do apologize for not posting of late, I returned home to Michigan after a year away at college just to get my first cold since I left. Thank you Michigan for putting the bitter in bitter-teenager-returns-to-freezing-cold-climate-after-year-away. It went from eighty degrees in Kentucky to 50 degrees in Michigan with the passing of a single day. It also rained so hard that I’m pretty sure I passed Noah’s Ark somewhere on I-75.

By the end, I’m pretty sure I looked like this:

Since today is Saturday (and not Friday like I’ve been thinking since the beginning of this post) I should be posting my next chapter of This is a Book tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that. However, those of you who have been following along with the blog-book might be thinking: wait, but Julia hasn’t posted her chapter yet this week. And what happened to that poll you promised us a month ago? Aha! So you have caught onto our mishaps. We apologize that we keep getting behind, but you should be getting the chapters AND A POLL coming really soon.

If you’re reading this and thinking: I have no idea what the crap you just said, then you’re either new to this blog (in which case I say welcome!) or you’ve simply forgotten what This is a Book is since I have been doing a really bad job of keeping you informed. Either way, check out the page at the top of this blog that is titled (so creatively) This is a Book, and it will give you a: 1) summary of the blog-novel so far, 2) links to the chapters, and 3) nope, there’s just the first two things.

After today, blogging should restart as normal. I’m sorry for being sick and not posting my so-ingenious-you-just-have-to-read-about-them stories, thoughts, and ideas. I know you’ve been missing me. (This is all sarcasm, by the way, I’m not a pompous jerk).

Oh! And I’ve been planning and plotting what I will be doing for my one year bloggaversary this July. It’s either going to be awesome or a massive fail. (And I mean massive). I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
